Height mechanics, ethnicity averages & style matching
Height is the only character creation stat that changes how you fight. Everything else — ethnicity, face, hair color — is cosmetic. If you care about winning fights, height is where your rerolls should go.
Tall vs Short: The Tradeoff
Tall (5'5"+)

Ethnicity & Average Height
Your character's height is generated around the average height of their ethnicity and gender. Averages are common; extremes (very tall or very short) are much rarer.

Ethnicity rates: 95% Japanese, Rolling non-Japanese is uncommon without rerolls. 5% shared between all non-Japanese ethnicities.

Face: 1% Mogger Face (rare), 99% normal.
Hair: 95% natural color, 5% dyed (RGB colors).
Reroll cost: 5 Robux per reroll per attempt.

What is the best height in Gakuran?
There is no single best height. Short builds (4'11"–5'4") are faster and work best with Boxing, Hakari, and Basic. Tall builds (5'5"+) hit harder and pair with Wrestling and Muay Thai. Match your height to your fighting style.
Does height affect damage numbers?
Yes. Taller characters deal more damage per hit and have higher HP, but their attacks are slower. Shorter characters hit for less but attack faster, have shorter cooldowns, and present a smaller target.
How do I get a tall or short character?
Height is generated around your ethnicity average. European males average 5'10" while Indian females average 5'1". To get an extreme height, you need to reroll — averages are common, extremes are rare.
Should I reroll height or fighting style first?
Reroll height first. Height affects every style, and you can adapt your playstyle to whatever style you roll. Use free codes for rerolls to avoid spending Robux.
